Kent State Division 3 Club Hockey offers a great opportunity for student athletes to compete while earning a degree from a nationally respected university.

We are looking for elite high school graduate hockey players to compete at an elite level against other collegiate teams.

Playing for Kent State is your opportunity to stay in peak form, physically and mentally.  With practices twice a week and 20-25 games will give your body and mind a regular workout!

Are you interested in a roster spot?  Let us know right away if you're interested.  We'll review your hockey experience and invite you to a tryout if you qualify.

All practices and home games are played at the KSU Ice Arena on the campus of Kent State. The Golden Flashes have their own dry locker storage where players can properly store and dry out all their equipment.

Parents!  Participating on Kent State's club hockey team will continue to develop positive qualities in your son:

  • Leadership
  • Teamwork
  • Determination
  • Discipline
  • Respect
  • Accountability
  • Healthy Lifestyle

Participation in extracurricular activities such as team sports is also related to overall student success - academic, personal and social.

Our team is inclusive and builds strong community of young men who support one another on and off the ice.  This experience will help them grow into positive adult role models.
